Leo Lift – is run twice a week and is a group strength training session, with one class focused on lower body training and the other on upper body. The class format and exercises stay the same for 7 weeks to allow your body to fully adapt to the exercises and for your muscles to grow sufficiently. The emphasis in this class is learning great ‘technique’ and slowly increasing the weight you lift.
Leo Conditioning – is based on the principles of metabolic conditioning; whereby we follow a set of exercises that need to be completed in either a set time or as little time as possible, leaving very minimal rest! This class will challenge your cardio ability with a mix of exercises usually reserved for the top athletes, and you will develop your speed, power and agility which transfers very nicely to sports such as netball, tennis and running.
Leo P.T. – Our small group (8 ladies max) personal training session is built around teaching you how to use the equipment you might find in a standard ‘gym’. You’ll gain confidence in setting up your space and going straight to the ‘free-weights’ section instead of just the cardio machines! Each session is designed around different ‘training principles’ and towards the end of the term, you’ll work on individually designed programs that are specific to you.
Leo Tabata – is our fast-paced, high-energy finisher to the week. Working on the principle from Professor Izumi Tabata, you’ll work at your maximum intensity for 20 secs with 10 secs rest over varying periods from 4 – 16 mins or sometimes 20! This class is always a surprise with the exercises involved. With a mix of bodyweight exercises and equipment-based exercises, and occasionally only ‘core’ work, you’ll leave feeling energized and ready for the weekend.
We pride ourselves on being able to coach all abilities within the same space with modifications (if needed). However, it is preferable that you start with a base level of fitness and have no injuries or ailments that could hinder your session. Please consult a doctor if you have any doubts.

We are pre and post-natal qualified and our ‘lift classes’ are suitable for both pregnant and post-pregnancy depending on your personal circumstances. Please get in touch with us so we can better advise you.
Definitely! Leo Tribe is a ‘women only’ training community designed to give you a safe and healthy space to work out in. We are accepting of everyone, non-judgmental and all members are encouraged to welcome new ladies. We pride ourselves on building your confidence as well as your body!
All classes start with a warm-up and then the main workout and end with a cool down. The whole class is explained at the beginning of the class, and I will be coaching you throughout
Size is not an indication of fitness and Leo Tribe has welcomed ladies of all sizes from all over the world. As long as you can do the basic movements you will be fine.
Absolutely, strength training and high-intensity interval training is highly recommended for women going through this stage of their life. We are here to help you navigate these challenging times in both mind and body and help you feel better about yourself.
Without knowing what else you might be doing throughout the week, i.e., a sport or another fitness session, it is difficult to correctly recommend which class/classes to do. We do however have a protocol which might help you:
Lion Cubs (Complete Beginner): Start with our ‘Lift’ classes. The foundations of building muscle and strengthening your body.
After 6 months of consistent training, you can add on the ‘Tabata’ class
Lionesses: Solid and consistent training 3 times a week, you can now add on the ‘Conditioning’ class.
Queen of the Jungle: You’re in for the full pack!
All our large group classes are AED 80 per class, paid in a 6/7 week block. P.T. is AED 120 per session, paid in a 6/7 week block.
A ‘drop in’ class is AED 100.
With your ‘termly’ commitment, you automatically get a “Leo Tribe” membership which grants you a special member-only card where you can avail discounts at certain retailers/services.
We will be offering an Online Membership very soon, that will grant you access to exclusive content like workout videos, recipes and advice from other health and fitness professionals, so look out for this.
Only the practical stuff, we have a large ‘free’ car park next to us and the reception is stocked with water (if you forget yours). We recommend you bring a large water bottle (which can be refilled) and a towel. Please wear standard ‘gym attire’ with trainers designed for cross-training. It is advisable to NOT wear ‘running’ trainers for the ‘Lift’ classes; old school plimsolls, converse or even bare feet are good for these sessions.
